The 3rd Annual Division Street AIDS Care Chicago Toy Drive

The PEOPLE*S Theater of Chicago in association with Innjoy Bar and Restaurant and BLEND Cafe are proud to announce The 3rd Annual Division Street AIDS CARE CHICAGO TOY DRIVE.

The Division Street AIDS CARE CHICAGO Toy Drive began as an outreach project of The PEOPLE*S Theater of Chicago in 2004. The toy drive allows members and businesses in Wicker Park to literally bring Christmas to families directly impacted by HIV and AIDS. By providing children with toys a Santa, elves and carolers the Spirit of Christmas is shared first hand with those in need. This year TWO locations will serve as drop off points for toys and gifts.

For ONE WEEK - December 9-16 - drop off boxes will be available for the collection of toys at the above locations. Toys should be unwrapped and suitable for children and young adults between the ages of 3 and 16. Monetary, tax deductible donations are accepted and should be made out to AIDS CARE CHICAGO and can be sent to:

A very special MONDO Christmas party will jump-start the toy drive and will be held at Innjoy Bar and Restaurant from 9 pm until 2 am on December 9th and will feature the musical stylings and mishaps of Chicago¹s very own SUPERDIVA MADRID. Drink specials will mark the evening and facilitate the joy of giving back to those less fortunate. Until there's a CURE, WE ARE ALL LIVING WITH AIDS.
